Our Journey to Building Strong Foundations
January 2022
Implemented bold, strong plan calling for major organizational expansion: relocate Crisis & Development Center (C&DC), expand program offerings, and increase service area.
June 2022
Through a strategic partnership with York Properties, Lonnie and Carol Poole Family Foundation and TowneBank, NRM purchased a stand-alone building off of E. Millbrook Rd to house its Crisis & Development Center. This will allow us to offer all of our neighbors out of one, accessible location.
July – August 2022
41-year-old roof replaced and HVACs installed.
August – October 2022
Engaged Craig Dean Architecture to design the remodel and up-fit necessary to host our programs and services. Check out the blue print!
October – January 2023
City of Raleigh permitting phase.
February – March 2023
Demo and cleanout at the new site!
March – May 2023
Framing walls and plumbing work.
June 2023
Back to City of Raleigh permitting.
July 2023
Renovations and up-fitting construction is at full speed.
January 2024
Bathrooms, Kitchen, and offices are almost finished!
